When I recorded the solo acoustic guitar and vocal version of this song, I had in mind the recording of a ‘full arrangement’ version i.e. with drums and other instruments. I even had in mind the basic idea, which was to keep the first verse and chorus as solo guitar and vocal, and to bring in the drums and other instruments for the start of the second verse. The video would also change dramatically at this point. These ideas are not original, but I was excited by the idea of executing them as well as I could.
