Today, I have re-released Landslide, my performance of the Fleetwood Mac song, which I released over the summer. I had intended to make a proper video to go with it (the earlier video was just a still of a landslide), plus my vocals were too echoey and tinny in the first version – all caused by the settings I’d used in my recording software. All that has changed with this re-release, hopefully resulting in an altogether more satisfying experience of the listener/viewer. I’ve also properly dedicated the video to my Mum. It is five months ago, to the day, that I received the phone when I was told she had days to live.
