I wrote this track on Singapore Airlines flight SQ 317 on 6/7 August 2017, using GarageBand for iPad. It’s a 13 hour flight from London to Singapore and I needed something to while away the time.
I did further work on the track in the autumn and winter, using Logic Pro, including the vocals (obviously, I couldn’t record these during a flight!) but 85% of what you hear was laid down when I was in the sky.
I wouldn’t call this a serious attempt to write a great track, more a fun release as I continue to work on my next album, The Red and The Blue.
